    Indianapolis International Airport

The new Air Traffic Control Tower was constructed as the first phase of the new Indianapolis International Airport redevelopment plan. Since there's little public interface at this building, its primary identity is established at a distance by the 340 foot-tall tower. The scepter-like design is capped by the glass cab, conceived as a diamond set in a ring. The unique cab design is supported by one central super column, thus providing Controllers with unobstructed 360-degree visibility. Local press has dubbed it the "Jewel of Indianapolis."
